Introduction

Chemical product design is the continuation of the previous semester's Introduction to Chemical Product Design, using the concept of the spiral curriculum to build off the knowledge and skills learnt in ICPD to further my capabilities in conceiving an idea then to manifest it physically through material deliverables.

In this module I have two personal goals that I wish to achieve. The first is that I wish to be able to confidently and competently learn and utilize the creation skills of CAD, laser cutting and 3D printing, as well as the rudiments of programming, as I believe in this 21st century these are the skills that a modern engineer needs to stand ahead of the crowd.

The second is that I want to understand how to effectively use this skills in combination to create a 

coherent and working prototype of a chemical product.

With these goals in mind I hope to have a fruitful learning experience from this module.
